Great Circle Client Rights and Responsibilities

The rights and responsibilities of each client are paramount at Great Circle, and, as outlined below, help to protect and empower him/her while receiving treatment and participating in Great Circle programs.

 

You have the right to:

  • Be safe
  • Be heard
  • Be respected
  • Learn
  • Be cared for
  • Participate in planning your treatment program
  • Receive visitors and communicate by phone or mail as guided by treatment team decisions
  • File a grievance, should you feel you are treated unfairly
  • Contact the Child Abuse Hotline
  • Be informed of the medication you are prescribed and possible side effects
  • Have your personal information shared with only those who need to know to keep you safe

You have the responsibility to:

  • Keep yourself and others safe
  • Listen to others
  • Respect the rights of others and their property
  • Participate in your treatment and treatment planning
  • Appropriately communicate the needs you have
  • Take ownership of your issues and work toward improvement
  • Stay within the guidelines given to you regarding the people on your contact list
  • Be truthful and open to resolving any issues that arise
  • Properly follow medical orders
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others
  • Follow rules and expectations of those caring for you
